Brown is not completely dark, but it really depends on how it ends up blending with your eye. (Do you have light/dark? etc…)

But… compared to honey- honey is definitely lighter than the Freshlook ‘brown’.

The hazel looks dark besides the faint green outline around the iris.

Yes, you need to have an eye exam for contacts regardless of the power. Just so you know, colored contact lens are pretty expensive. Clear contacts will run you around $ 25 a box of 6 while colored contacts are about $ 50. Don’t order them online unless it’s through an authorized seller like 1-800-contacts and even then, you will need a script. Just go to a local Optometrist and have a contact lens exam.
