To absorb more oxygen, the blood vessels of the cornea will grow abnormally in the situation being short of oxygen for a long period, which are possible to cause blindness.
Also the colorful materials may leak out in some situations. The colorful materials are put into the lens by permeating technology; therefore there is the possibility of permeating into eyes. If the quality of colorful contact lens is not good enough, it is very dangerous to wear them.
Though there are a lot of things that should be paid attention to, people in style also like to wear a pair of colorful contact lens. Then the essential problem is how to get along with them. Try some measures to keep eyes healthy at the same time. Choose the glasses shop possessing enough qualities, which is the first and most important step. Just wearing colorful contact lens at some special places when you have to and never having them on when sleeping is the right and wise behavior.

Question by shae: Do I have to have prescription to get no degree color contact lens?
I went to purchase no degree color contact lens for cosmetic purpose at a local store, but they told me I need to have prescription to get even no degree color lens. It was my first time to decide to purchase color contact lens, so didn’t know much about those regulation though, is that true?
Also how about those internet sites sell color contact lens on line without prescription? Those are not good???

Yes, you need to have an eye exam for contacts regardless of the power. Just so you know, colored contact lens are pretty expensive. Clear contacts will run you around $ 25 a box of 6 while colored contacts are about $ 50. Don’t order them online unless it’s through an authorized seller like 1-800-contacts and even then, you will need a script. Just go to a local Optometrist and have a contact lens exam. The exam itself will cost you between $ 50-$ 80. Hope this helps and good luck!
